As America’s #1 Beauty Company, Avon makes it easy for your group to raise the most money in the shortest amount of time.

The advantages of using Avon for your next fundraiser

Easier for you to raise funds.  By promoting high-quality, value priced, branded products that are backed by a name that is trusted and make your supporters happy. People are tired of supporting fundraisers that offer products that are over-priced that they can purchase at a local retail outlet for much less.  Choosing Avon Fundraising will give your supporters a product that they recognize, trust and will be proud to give as a gift or a treat for themselves. Our products are priced comparable to our retail stores and your group earns 40% profit.

Easy to run. There are no materials costs to you, no order minimums, we package all orders, we provide free samples and posters to advertise your sale, a free cumulative prize program and free group organizer bonuses.

Easy to wrap up your sale.   Customer Service is handled by your personal Avon Fundraiser Specialist and this makes it easier for you and your fundraising supporters to resolve any issues you may have.

Great for Schools, Churches, Sport Teams, Groups, Non-for-profits groups, etc.

School Fundraiser :   How to Spread the Word About Your School’s Fundraiser

Successful Campaigns Tell Their Story Often

Congratulations! You’ve begun…or are about to begin… one of the most gratifying, worthwhile projects a school community can undertake: raising funds to support your school. Whether the money is to bolster a special project, class trip, or particular club, your fundraiser will promote teamwork, raise school pride, and—with the right approach—successfully meet your goals. You’ve already taken the most important steps by choosing a dollar goal, the products you’ll sell, and what the money raised will fund. But now what? To reach your goal you need enough people to know about your fundraiser and be moved to participate – in other words, it’s time to get the word out!

Communication is the Key to Your Fundraising Success

This step-by-step plan will help spread the word about your school fundraiser:

1. Make a list of everyone who can help support your effort.  Start with students, parents,
grandparents, aunts and uncles, school supporters, graduates, anyone who has a personal interest in you and your school. This is the base from which you’ll start building excitement and raising money.

2. Get your fundraising website ready to go.  One of the easiest ways to raise money is through a website your supporters can order from no matter where they live. If you are raising money using Avon Fundraising, you are in luck—the work of preparing a website is already done.  Avons Fundraising website is in place, ready for supporters to shop for your cause. All you need to do is tell your supporters how to get to the website. They can order directly and easily from there and the profits go straight to you.  The order is shipped directly to them.

3. Prepare emails and printed flyers that give the details of your fundraiser.  Be sure to include the dates and goals of your fundraiser and why you are raising money. And make sure to include the URL of your fundraising website.

4. Get your message out early and often.  Start by putting notices up on bulletin boards at school, sending home printed notices with students, broadcasting your fundraiser during school PA announcements, and posting information on your school website to let everyone know your fundraiser is going to begin soon. On the day the fundraiser begins, send more detailed notices to everyone to let them know they can begin buying. Remember to update people during important phases of your campaign: when you reach certain money goals or are getting close to the end date.

5. Put social media to work for you.  Don’t think traditional paper notices can do it all. Create a buzz for your campaign and spread awareness by using texts, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any of your favorite channels to spread the word. You can even tap some budding filmmakers to create a short video about your fundraiser and post it on YouTube.

6. Let local newspapers know about your campaign.  Make a list of the newspapers in your area, write a short press release about how and why you are raising money for your school and share it with them. Make sure to try for postings on their online community news sections. There are lots of opportunities to spread the word about your school’s fundraiser. It helps if you can write out a plan before your fundraiser begins to outline all the ways you can communicate what you are doing and how people can participate. Plan on getting your message out at least weekly to keep your supporters engaged.
